Nursing Assistant Certified Program (NAC)
Train for an exciting and rewarding career in 5 weeks. Highline College Nursing Assistant program combines classroom theory, skills laboratory and clinical experience to prepare students to take the Washington State licensure exam for a Certified Nursing Assistant. In sixty hours of classroom theory, students will review personal care skills, vital signs, charting, nutrition, body mechanics, infection control, resident rights, communication skills, CPR and HIV certification. Certified Nursing Assistants work in a variety of medical settings such as hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, adult family homes, hospice and dialysis centers.
