NEW Nonprofit Management Certificate
For people who would like to start a nonprofit organization or who
are seeking a career in the nonprofit sector, and for those already
working or volunteering for nonprofit organizations who want better
knowledge of the legal, strategic, financial and marketing “best
practices” for sustaining and growing their organization.
AND any 2 of the 3 classes in Fundraising for Nonprofit Organizations (see below)
Nursing Assistant Certified Program (NAC)
Train for an exciting and rewarding career in 4 weeks. Highline Community College Nursing Assistant program combines classroom theory, skills laboratory and clinical experience to prepare students to take the Washington State licensure exam for a Certified Nursing Assistant. In sixty hours of classroom theory, students will review personal care skills, vital signs, charting, nutrition, body mechanics, infection control, resident rights, communication skills, CPR and HIV certification. Certified Nursing Assistants work in a variety of medical settings such as hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, adult family homes, hospice and dialysis centers. Upon completion of the program, students are eligible to take the state certification examination.
